“I was on the 1 train with this good-looking guy. I was hoping he would get off at my stop, but he got off two stops earlier. Like a total creep, I followed him out of the train. My heart was racing-I was like, W hat are you gonna do? We were waiting for the crosswalk to change and I thought, T his is your opportunity, just go up to him. So I tapped him on the shoulder, he looked at me, and I said, “This is totally out of character for me, but can I give you my phone number? I think you’re really cute.”

He looked super dumbfounded. He didn’t speak any English at all. I just walked away. I was 20 blocks away from my home, and I was like, Just walk it. I haven’t approached another guy in person; online [it’s] easier with veil of the internet.”
